Currency

When currency is recorded it must always be accompanied by a code indicating the currency type. Currency types are specified by three-character codes as specified by ISO 4217. Because many countries do not have financial symbols, financial symbols such as $, ¥, and £ should be extracted from text and follow the conventions for any extracted content within the application. A localization vendor will identify the correct locale-based substitution.
