Character Manipulation Function
int fgetc(FILE *stream);
wint_t fgetwc(FILE *stream);
_TINT _fgettc(FILE *stream);
Internationalization (I18n) Function Overview
The fgetc function returns the character read from stream as an int, or it returns EOF to indicate an error or end of file.
fgetwc is the wide-character version of fgetc, returning a wide-character wint_t, or WEOF in the event of an error or end of file.
_fgettc is the Windows-only Generic version of the function; with the _MBCS or _UNICODE compiler flags determining its mapping to either fgetc or fgetwc.
