The getlocale function returns the current setting for the given locale category as a sequence containing language code, encoding.

I18n Issues

Locale defaults to portable 'C' locale and not to the user's locale so you need to be sure to call setlocale(LC_ALL,'').

Globalyzer will detect this method and report it as an I18n issue. If you have determined that the call is being handled correctly, you can use Globalyzer's Ignore Comment functionality to ensure that it isn't picked up in a subsequent scan.
